As an island nation, Ireland has a vast 220 million acres of marine and undersea territory. And battered by the Atlantic, we’ve got some of the biggest waves in Europe. So if water-sports are your thing you are coming to the right place. When it comes to surfing expect wild conditions and a warm welcome. Have a go at sea-kayaking, scuba-diving and sailing, or get motoring with jet-skiing, hovercrafting and powerboating.
If you have a head for heights, with some of the highest seacliffs and most beautiful mountains in Europe, you can get close up to the elements. Try sky-diving, mountain boarding and biking, rock climbing and rope coursing, abseiling, power kiting or paragliding.
Or if it’s the thrill of the road you’re chasing, we’ve got buggy racing, karting, rally and supercar driving, quad biking, off-road driving and formula racing.
