NCI has strong links with world-renowned US universities. For example, the MSc in Cloud Computing has been developed with professors from Stanford, UC Berkeley and Cornell. The NCI School of Computing is Ireland’s largest and sits in the centre of Dublin which is known as the “Silicon Valley of Europe”. Within walking distance of NCI are the European Headquarters of Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. It is with these companies that NCI has developed courses and where NCI graduates gain employment.
The School of Business sits in the centre of Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre. All of the world’s leading banks and consultancy companies are within reach of the campus. NCI graduates have gained employment at great companies like Citi, PWC, Morgan Stanley, KPMG and JP Morgan.

Careers SupportNCI is ranked number 1 for graduate recruitment according to the Sunday Times University Guide 2015. This guide ranks all universities in Ireland according to the percentage of graduating students who get jobs related to their major within six months of graduation. NCI ranked the highest with 96% of students gaining employment within six months. | |
The reason why NCI ranks so high is that they are a unique institution that has very strong links with industry. NCI was established more than 60 years ago to serve the specific needs of industry. They have two specialist schools in Computing and Business. They develop courses with industry by simply asking them what courses are needed to provide them with graduates with practical skills that are ready for the workplace. No other academic institution in Ireland has such strong industry links.
